CIRQUS NOIR
You are walking through the city in the evening and suddenly you hear the distant familiar voice from a gloomy alley: "Precious lady, dear sir, close your eyes, prick up your ears, your heart is already pounding, come closer..." a mysterious voice with a mysterious accent is heard.
You look around curiously and can't believe your eyes. A dubious-looking circus principal, standing by a wooden cart with a covered cage, encourages passers-by to look through the opening of a dirty sheet for a few small coins. A picture like from an old movie. You stop with interest and consider whether you can overcome the comfort of the evening's boredom and contribute a few smiths for a moment of excitement. You shyly walk towards the weirdo. You are not even five steps away and the principal yells at you. "STOP! I have something better for you!" He hands you a crumpled black-and-white leaflet as if it had been cut out of a newspaper of the period, without saying a word he grabs the handle of the crumbling cart and suddenly disappears around the nearest corner with a quick limping step.
